About Our Vans
Volkswagen Westfalia vans can sleep and seat up to 4 adults in camping style comfort. The backseat turns into a bed and the top pops up for a 2nd bed on the roof under a tent.
All vans have a 2 burner propane stove and a sink.
Oahu Camping Vans also provides: linens, cool box, pots and pans, etc, etc, etc.
We pride ourselves in providing reliable transportation for your vacation. Our bodies are authentic, our engines are strong, and our interiors are clean.
With lots of new and reliable parts our vans are equipped with super reliable 2.1 liter gas engines boosting 18 to 21 miles per gallon.
Westy Vans are available on a first come first serve basis.

"Billabong"
Billabong is our 1985. She is a real nice ride and is iPod ready. She likes having her top popped at Sunset Beach. Imagine lying up on the roof with a perfect view of the surf. If you are waiting for the wind to die down, all you have to do is lift your head up and open your eyes. Ready or not, Billabong is in town!
"Coppertone"
Coppertone is 1980 Westy. She is named after the suntan lotion and you don't want to go to the beach without her! She's old but not tired. Everybody loves her for her color and style. Overall she is still a real attention getter. The van is also iPod ready. Let’s go camping!
"Granola"
Granola is 1987 Westy. She's got a standard transmission and roll down windows as do all of our vans. This girl is all natural with the utmost comfort and reliability. You will enjoy watching beautiful sunsets as you tour our island home.
"Diamond Head"
Diamond Head is our 1987 Westy. She has an automatic transmission and power windows. Diamond Head is not only Oahu's most famous tourist attraction two minutes outside of Waikiki. It's also where you should go to learn to surf and this van is how you should be getting there. Hang ten!
"Rosie"
Rosie is our 1987 Westy. She is sure to get you around the Island with comfort and reliability.
"Pearl"
Pearl is our 1990 Westy. She is our newest van but has the same reliability as all of them.
"Sadie"
Sadie is our most authentic camper van. She is an older bay window style Westy. We try to hold onto her as a spare just in case.
"Alternatives to Pop Tops"
Weekender model vans are good for two people. They boost automatic transmissions. This is a better option for surfers that want to keep their boards in the van or on hard racks on the roof. They have a table that folds out and rear facing jump seats. The bed is a bit bigger than the standard camper van. Included are a cool box and linens but no sink and stove. Please specify weekender in the contact form below if this better suits your needs. They also seat 7 people.
